ISD was founded as a result of the First International Conference on Differentiation held in Nice in 1971.
Our Mission
ISD is a non-profit professional society dedicated to the advancement of the field of cell and developmental biology. ISD seeks to provide an international forum to support researchers in cell differentiation as it relates to developmental, stem cell, and cancer cell biology, through international meetings, forums for collaboration, and dissemination of research.
