Plans are well underway for the 20th International Conference, held in conjunction with The British Society for Developmental Biology, scheduled for September 4-8, 2022, at the Grand Excelsior Hotel Malta, in Valletta, Malta. And please do note that if your ISD membership is current, you are eligible for a reduced registration rate. Additionally, student travel scholarship awards will be available for application.

2018 Conference
The ISD held a joint meeting with the Australian and New Zealand Society for Cell and Developmental Biology (ANZSCDB) at the International Convention Centre in Sydney, Australia, 2018 September 23-27.
ComBio2018 is a combination of six societies holding their annual meetings with the International Society of Differentiation (ISD) partnering with the Australia and New Zealand Society of Cell and Developmental Biology, and the New Zealand Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and the New Zealand Society of Plant Biologists joining in with the Australian Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and the Australian Society of Plant Scientists.
The ASBMB Grimwade Keynote Plenary Lecturer was Randy Wayne Schekman. Professor Schekman is a Nobel Prize-winning American professor of molecular and cell biology at the University of California, Berkeley. The ANZSCDB was proud to sponsor an international plenarylecture by Professor Christoph Niehrs, founding and scientific director of the Institute of Molecular Biology in Mainz, Germany. The ISD Brachet Award Plenary lecture was presented by Professor Liz Roberston (University of Oxford) The Anne McLaren Award Plenary lecture was presented by Professor Anna Philpott (University of Cambridge).
